more than just a building...

Theatre Royal Wakefield’s Engage programme is designed to inspire young and old alike through practical engagement with the arts.

We aim to champion the arts and creativity as an innovative approach to community development, raising aspirations, delivering training, forging new partnerships through creative engagement and being a specialist professional resource for our community.

Through our programme of engagement work, we work with schools, youth groups, local arts rganisations, and local, regional and national companies to deliver innovative and creative projects designed to inspire confidence and ambition in our communities.
